Winery Review: The bouquet is floral and lightly jammy, with berry aromas and a savory note or two. To the uninitiated, this is a great introduction to Bonarda. Finishes solid. Very sweet, berry smell with some rooty undertones. Kind of dry, makes your lips pucker.
My Thoughts: The nose is like being drowned in a bath of berry jam. Strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry. In the background there is a slight cheesy smell. Like the lifeguard's foot being pressed over your face after she saves you from the jam pool. The flavor is berry and jam, and berry. A very fruity and tasty wine. Definitely need to find more of this varietal.
